Game Paused is an active promotor of Video Game Culture, combining games and art through various projects, products and platforms.

Founded in 2005 by two designers (Matthew Kenyon and Robert Cooper) with a shared passion for both design and gaming; Game Paused connected with over 800 creatives from around the world through an art book concept inspired by the games we grew up with.

Today, Game Paused produces a range of gaming inspired apparel and products, referencing and celebrating the culture and iconography past and present, whilst bringing news and gaming creativity from around the world to gamepaused.net

Game Paused is a major creative project from Develop – a design studio based in the North of England – and continues to seek collaboration and partnership with creatives from around the globe. If you are interested in working with Game Paused, please get in touch.

Our t-shirts are screen printed by leading printers, using high quality inks to ensure a long-lasting print. Whether our designs are bold or detailed we can guarantee you will be impressed by the quality of our prints.

Our garments are sourced from the highest quality affordable suppliers, ensuring you get the most for your money. We use Continental Clothing T-shirts for our current range of designs. These T-shirts are 100% Combed Cotton Jersey weighing 165g / 4.95oz. We use Classic or Fitted styles for an extremely comfortable fit, and stylish look.

The garments we use are ethically produced, and are accredited by the Fair Wear Foundation – ensuring ethical trade and justice for workers – and have been tested for harmful substances by Confidence in Textiles.

Please refer to the sizing chart to help find the best fitting t-shirt for you. Sizes are based on the measurements of the front of the T-shirt. For best results, measure one of your best fitting t-shirts at home, and match to one of the sizes we supply.

If treated well our t-shirts are extremely long-lasting and durable. Adhere to the product care label on your garment to ensure you are washing and ironing your shirt at correct temperatures.

Here's a guide to the symbols you may find on your garments care label:

Wash with similar colours.
Re-shape while damp.
Do not iron over the printed design.

Once your order has been received we aim to dispatch it within two working days.

UK Deliveries:
1 to 2 working days. Royal Mail Recorded Signed for™

Europe and World Deliveries:
3 to 5 working days. Royal Mail Airmail in Europe and the rest of the world.

Postage is free on all orders through this site, to anywhere in the world.

Our t-shirts are packaged in protective poly bubble bags which are recycled and fully recyclable, so you receive your tees in great condition with minimal fuss.

Payments are processed through PayPal. PayPal accepts most popular cards including MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron and American Express. You can also pay using Direct Debit.

Your card details are only received by PayPal. We don’t see or have access to your credit card information.

Payment will only be accepted if the selected items are in stock. If goods are not available and payment has been made in advance your order will be promptly refunded.

If you are not satisfied with the item(s) you have received please contact us at returns@gamepaused.net with the following information, within 14 days of receiving your items:

We will ask you to return the shirt in its original condition to the following address:

We aim to refund orders within 48 hours of receipt. Please allow up to 7 working days before the refunded payment appears in your account. We cannot take responsibility for items while they are being returned in transit. We recommend that you use a delivery service that will insure the item(s) in the event that they are lost in transit.

Q: How do I pay for products?

Q: Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy from this site?
A: No, when you checkout with PayPal you can enter your card details without having to sign-up. PayPal gives you the option to sign-up, but you don’t have to oblige.

Q: Does Game Paused accept rupees as payment?
A: At the time of publication we are not able to accept rupees, Mario coins or shards as payment for goods.

Q: Why has my order not been delivered?
A: There are occasionally delays to deliveries in your region that are down to the carrier. Please seek local information for any causes of delays.

Q: Can I feature Game Paused on my site?

Q: Can I put your logo and link on my site?

Q: Can I buy your products wholesale?
A: At present we are not able to offer our products at wholesale prices. If you run a store, we would still love to hear from you if you are interested in selling our products.

Currently we don't require any personal info for your account, other than a username, password and permanent e-mail address.

You will be required to enter your e-mail address at sign-up, in order to confirm your account and account changes, and to receive order confirmations if you purchase from this site. We will occasionally e-mail you with product releases, you can opt out of receiving these by unsubscribing from the email footer.
